MARY SIGWARD + ARTISTS
MS+A is devoted to investigating the future of contemporary dance. Founded by Mary Sigward in 2022, MS+A's mission is to foster intellectual curiosity through thought-provoking dance. MS+A provides a platform for experimental interdisciplinary dance works that push the boundaries of contemporary dance through integration of technology, movement, and visual arts. MS+A believes movement is a vital part of humanity, and strives to create a supportive environment where artists can explore and experiment freely with new ideas.

MS+A's programming includes producing and performing new multidisciplinary contemporary dance works, teaching contemporary dance master classes to aspiring pre-professional students, and developing performance opportunities in publicly accessible spaces to provide enriching experiences for all members of the community.
Movement comes from an innate place deep within the individual.
It comes from a need to communicate, express, or question the world.

Since its founding, MS+A has produced three full-length performances, was awarded the James Ray Residency and Touring Program from the Seattle International Dance Festival, toured internationally to the ARTSinTANK Dance Festival (Seoul, South Korea), and collaborated with over 12 renowned artists.
